Hey there, fellow human. I’m Hannah, a counselor who thinks talking to a professional can be an effective way to sort through the chaos that life sometimes throws at us. Whether you have a case of the morbs (cool Victorian slang for depression), anxiety that has you feeling like a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, or you are trying to sort through all the thoughts, feelings, and situations that come along with existing, I’ve got your back.
While I can’t guarantee that I am, having some information about me might be a good place to start when figuring out if we will be a good therapeutic fit. I strongly believe that counseling is a place for everyone and that all people should feel safe and understood by the counselor they are working with. As a goth, Satanist, and (somewhat) heavily tattooed woman, I know what it is like to not fit in. Your weirdness is accepted and celebrated here as a part of who you are. Professionally, I’ve spent much of my career working with depression, anxiety, relational problems, substance use, and incarceration and recidivism prevention.
Personally, I love horror in most formats (though I do prefer book form), thrive during Halloween season, enjoy ridiculous puns, and still hold onto the hope that Mothman and his fellow cryptids are real. Sound like we might be a good match or want more information to figure out if I’m the right counselor for you? Feel free to send me an email and I’ll get back to you faster than Scooby-Doo can scarf down a box of Scooby-Snacks. Well, maybe not faster than that, but in a few business days for sure.
